Chocolate lovers can give a Valentine's Day gift that's twice as nice with the purchase of tickets to the MSU Museum's annual Chocolate Party Benefit. In addition to the inspired indulgence in all things chocolate, the Chocolate Party Benefit funds proper care of the Museum’s collections.
The annual chocolate party event helps raise much-needed funds for care and preservation of the MSU Museum's collections. The annual event features a rich and tempting array of chocolate -- chocolate tortes, cheesecakes, truffles, and other elegant and edible creations. The Chocolate Party Benefit is Sunday, Feb. 26 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center and one of the few professional culinary competitions in the country open to the general public with area chefs creating inspired, edible masterpieces featuring the key ingredient, chocolate. at http://museum.msu.edu .
Tickets are $30 for the general public and $25 for MSU Museum members in advance, and $35 at the door. A special "Premier Chocolatier" ticket for $75 offers an advance preview of Chocolate Party creations and a year-long MSU Museum membership.Â
