New Display "Walking in Love" and Special Chinese New Year Programs set for Sun. Feb. 7

“Walking in Love,” an upcoming display at the MSU Museum features hand-made embroidered shoes. These shoes are part of the “Walking in Love” project  created by Xiaoxing (Adele) Han. Her 87 year-old grandmother, Xixiu Zhao has developed a unique process for creating beautiful embroidered shoes for loved ones. She has never sold the shoes, but makes them as gifts for family members and friends

After others learn about her grandma's story, Han hopes that they will recognize and share their own “artists of love.” All contributions will become part of the “Walking in Love” documentary.

The “Walking in Love” display runs from February 7 – May 1, 2016 in the Lobby Area of the MSU Museum.
