The MSU Museum, coordinator of the annual Great Lakes Folk Festival (GLFF) in downtown East Lansing is highlighting community photographs posted to social media during the 2014 festival. The photographs showcase traditions, culture, and community, and what festival goers saw as important to share with their friends and family on twitter, instagram, and facebook.
The Great Lakes Folk festival began as the Festival of Michigan Folklife in 1987, to the National Folk Festival in 1999 - 2001, and GLFF from 2002 - current. Save the date for this years festival August 7 - 9, 2015!
