Erik Rujan is a docent and marketing & communications volunteer managing the MSU Museum’s newest Twitter account @MSUMuseumBear. As a docent, Erik’s duties include greeting groups that visit the museum, as well as providing in-gallery educational support and visitor assistance. During the summer of 2017 Erik held the position of marketing and communications intern at the MSU Museum. During his internship, he helped manage the social media pages for the MSU Museum as well as overall promotions for the Great Lakes Folk Festival. This led to his newest volunteer position, cultivating a personality for the MSU Museum’s Brown Bear on Twitter.

Erik’s other activities include the Michigan State History association on campus in which he is a board member, as well as being the next Editor in Chief for the Michigan State Journal of History. Follow the MSU Museum Bear on Twitter @MSUMuseumBear.
