ChronoTrack
ChronoTrack is a new innovation that allows for the use of disposable tags called D-Tags. The ChronoTrack system simplifi es the timing process for athletes. A disposable tag eliminates the need to worry about turning your chip in after the race and allows you to spend more time focusing on competing. Shorter lines before the race to pick up your bib and chip, and no line to return your tag or chip afterwards, are just some of the benefi ts to the ChronoTrack system. The D-Tag is easy to attach to your shoe and is far lighter and less intrusive than other timing tags and chips. Once attached to your shoe, you will quickly forget that it is even there.

Walkers!
The walk will be competitive. Therefore, if you register to walk, you cannot run at any time during the race. If you plan to run even a small portion of the race, please register in one of the run categories. Walk monitors will be stationed on the course. If three monitors report that any walk participant was running during the race, that participant will be moved to the run division.
Race Day Activities
A number of activities, including a race walk clinic and aerobics warm-up, are planned. Special guest appearances, entertainment, and children's activities are fun for the whole family.
Attention! Race Walkers
On Sunday, October 4th, members of the Capital City Race Walkers will
present a race walk clinic from 9:00-9:30 a.m. on the east side of the
MSU Museum.
Experienced race walkers and marathoners, will demonstrate correct race
walking technique. They will discuss these techniques and answer questions.
