Education activities at the Michigan State University Museum are dedicated to engaging audiences, facilitating their understanding and inspiring discovery.

Three floors of exhibits open to the public seven days a week. When is the last time you saw dinosaurs from the late Jurassic Period of the Mesozoic Era? Or, maybe you are into something more recent; then check out our special exhibits. We have three galleries dedicated to changing exhibits. We welcome groups of all ages to visit the museum. Just go to Group Tours to see how easy it is to bring your group here.

Can't make it to the Museum but have a topic you want your class to know more about? Find out if your school has access to video-conferencing equipment and then go to our Virtual Outreach page. The programs are amazing!

See our Summer Adventure page for programs that link kids with real scientists and experts.

Do you have a question about a critter you have seen in your backyard or while on a trip? Go to the Wildlife & Natural History Q-line page to find out how you can ask our own "Critter Guy," Jim Harding, your question.

As a Smithsonian Affiliate, we also invite you to visit their website, http://www.smithsonianeducation.org, for other educational ideas, lesson plans and just more fun information!
