All donors will receive a periodic newsletter via email if they desire and if they provide an email address. In addition, donations of $100.00 or more will receive additional recognition, according to level of giving.
Be sure to note on your check that the contribution is for the Great Lakes Folk Festival and remember to provide your email address if you wish to recieve the online newsletter.
You can also take this opportunity to join the MSU Museum Associates at the same time. For a minimum contribution of $25.00, members receive a bi-annual newsletter with articles on museum research and public activities; special invitations to museum tours, previews of new exhibits, expeditions, lectures, festivals, performing arts classes and workshops; recognition in our Annual Report. Additional benefits, including a 10% discount at MSU Museum Store and dual membership in the Smithsonian Institution are also available at additional levels of giving. Contributions made to the festival are also considered gifts to Michigan State University and as such, are tax-deductible as provided by law and count towards membership in MSUs donor societies.
