The colors, design, and excellent workmanship of applique and quilting all combine to make a charming example of a Midwest quilt. Feather wreaths grace the plain blocks. The solid, red, green and yellow print fabric are typical of quilts in the mid 1800s. The leaf design is repeated on the complementary border.
