This quilt top contains variety of grandmother's flower garden and field of diamond blocks, appliqued onto a white cotton fabric. The sides have selvage edges and the top and bottom are raw edged.

W.P.A. stands for the Works Progress Administration started by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1935 to employ people during the depression.
