A newly remodeled Multicultural Center in the MSU Union features two cases of exhibits on the 2nd floor of the Union that draw from the cultural collections of the MSU Museum. The exhibits highlight diversity in a place on campus where all kinds of students can connect; the exhibits will be up through January 2014.

Dig the Past: A Hands-on Intro to Archaeology
What: Learn what archaeologists do by doing it! Dig, sift, and sort your way towards learning about how archaeology builds knowledge about the human past. Handle real artifacts and record your own observations in a field notebook you can take home. Hands-on activities for kids (and adults) of all ages.
Where: MSU Museum Auditorium
When: The following Saturdays from 1-3 PM: October 26, and November 16
Activity is drop-in; visitors are free to come and go as they please.

The MSU Museum will be closed on home football Saturdays in the fall: Oct. 19, Nov. 2, and Nov. 30. This weekend regular hours will resume on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.
