The MSU Museum will be closed on home football Saturdays in the fall: Sept. 20, Sept. 27, Oct. 4, Oct.25, Nov. 8 and Nov. 22. This weekend regular hours will resume on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m.

Washington, DC—Today, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced new grants for 211 museum projects, totaling $25,576,662, through its highly competitive Museums for America and National Leadership Grants for Museums programs.

MSU Museum's annual MSU Federal Credit Union Dinosaur Dash is set for Sunday, Oct. 5.
The fast, flat 5K race is a fall-time favorite and a long-time benefit for the Michigan State University Museum educational programs. Meanwhile, a full line-up of activities makes for Earth shaking fun for the entire family.

The MSU Museum will be closed during the Labor Day holiday weekend, Friday, Aug. 29 at 12 noon - Monday, Sept. 1. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 9 a.m.

For those thinking about continuing education, networking or volunteering, the Michigan State University Museum might fit the bill threefold. The MSU Museum is now recruiting participants for the Docent Program.
Docents are needed to conduct tours and lead educational activities that add to the visitor experience and increase awareness of collections and exhibitions.
