This fall, watch for the MSU Museum and Director Gary Morgan to be featured on WKAR-TV's "QuizBusters." The quiz show will feature a series of questions about the U.S. Civil War, which started 150 years ago. Morgan asks the questions in the MSU Museum's Heritage Hall, site of the special exhibit "Michigan and the Civil War: the 150th Anniversary."

Now in its 23rd season, WKAR's "QuizBusters," a weekly game show hosted by Matt Ottinger, pits high school student teams against one another as they compete for scholarships to Michigan State University and book scholarships from Student Book Store. The 64 teams are from throughout mid-Michigan and they answer questions on such topics as literature, history, math, science, sports and pop culture.

"QuizBusters" airs on WKAR-TV at 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays beginning October 1. Programs can also be viewed online.

Morgan is among a number of MSU faculty, staff and students helping out with this season's "QuizBusters." Also featured are Lt. Col. Michael Connelly of the Air Force ROTC at MSU, Dave Regan of Advertising, Public Relations and Retailing faculty, Head Women's Basketball Coach Suzy Merchant, doctoral student Shawna Valdez of the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, and Ian Whiters of the Japan Center.
