We All Live Downwind

We All Live Downwind is an exhibition of photographic collages created by Detroit artist and legal activist Shanna Merola. Her images are made up of photographic images that are cut and assembled, formed into sculptures, and flattened and then photographed and digitally flattened. The final images are culled from daily headlines – inspired by global and grassroots struggles against the forces of privatization in the face of disaster capitalism.
