 markable journey from his early days as an archaeologist in Miami to becom
 ing the driving force behind the establishment of this groundbreaking Muse
 um established by Congress in December 2020.\n\nWith a deep passion for pr
 eserving and celebrating the rich heritage of Latino contributions to the 
 art\, history\, and culture of the United States\, Jorge Zamanillo's leade
 rship has been instrumental in shaping the Museum's mission. Born in New Y
 ork City and raised in Miami\, Jorge Zamanillo's personal connection to hi
 s work adds a unique perspective to his achievements. He holds a bachelor'
 s degree in anthropology from Florida State University and a master's in m
 useum studies from the University of Leicester in England.\n\nDon't miss t
