Educator Professional Development: Using Immersive Tech to Teach with Museum Objects

Register now for a free one-day professional development program focused on learning how to use museum cultural objects for teaching through 3D models, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and educational materials that center collections as primary sources for student exploration.

After completing the program, you will be able to: (1) incorporate digitized museum objects into your teaching, (2) describe different technologies for teaching such as 3D models, AR, and VR, (3) describe learning impacts of object- and technology-based teaching, and (4) make informed pedagogical decisions about using 3D models and other technologies in your classrooms.
