Explore the beauty of porcupine quillwork with artist Amber Waboose-Kimewon. This workshop introduces participants to the foundations of working with porcupine quills, from preparation to creating a finished quillwork pin, pendant, or hair barrette.

All materials are provided, and no experience is required — just bring your creativity and an open heart.

More About Amber Waboose-Kimewon

Amber Waboose-Kimewon is an Ojibwe artist from Batchewana First Nation, Ontario. She specializes in porcupine quillwork, birch bark art, and painting. Through her work, Amber focuses on cultural revitalization, storytelling, and connecting communities through hands-on creative practice.
