DESCRIPTION:Workshop #3 – Materials for Maintaining Physical Craft Archiv
 es\nThe final workshop of the Michigan African American Craft Legacy Proje
 ct will be hosted at the MSU Detroit Center on November 7th from 6:00 - 8
 :00PM. The workshop is intended for elder Black artists and community memb
 ers interested in sharing about and further developing their skills in doc
 umenting\, preserving\, and sharing Black craft legacies\, particularly th
 ose of elder Black craft artists.\n\nDuring this workshop\, all participan
 ts will receive free preservation materials (file folders and storage box
 es) to aid them with their personal craft archives\, as well as hands-on t
 raining in how to utilize the materials. This will be the final workshop o
 f the series.\n\nAttendance will be capped at 10 participants. This event 
 will be led by Dr. Liv Furman.
