DESCRIPTION:Explore truth versus fabrication in the age of generative AI. P
 articipants will evaluate claims about the MSU community—some factual\, 
 others AI-generated—using multiple data visualizations: some created by 
 AI\, others by human researchers. Through guided discussion questions\, yo
 u will learn to identify misinformation and understand appropriate AI usag
 e in information sharing. This hands-on interactive workshop designed and 
 led by MSU graduate students will equip you with practical strategies to a
 ssess AI capabilities\, recognize bias and misleading content\, and use da
 ta evidence to verify or debunk claims in our AI-driven world. \n\nLunch w
 ill be provided. \n\nThis workshop is co-sponsored by the MSU Department 
 of Computational Mathematics\, Science\, and Engineering\, and the CREATE 
 for STEM Institute.
