The Body Fights Back is an independent documentary by Estonian journalist and
broadcaster Marian Võsumets. This film explores troubled eating, feeling like you never fit in (literally
and metaphorically), destructive cycles of self-sabotage, and reimagining what it means to be
healthy. Following the film, we will have a facilitated discussion with MSU psychology professor Blair
Burnette to examine all the different factors that influence what it means to exist in a body in the
world.
