DESCRIPTION:Discover the uses of common chickweed (Stellaria media)\, a hum
 ble yet nutritious and delicious weed that thrives in Michigan gardens. Jo
 in the Beal Botanical Garden and MSU Museum to learn about and forage this
  plant\, one of the earliest to emerge in the spring. Participants will le
 arn how to identify the plant\, harvest it\, and make a chickweed salad to
  sample.\n\nPlease note that we will BEGIN the workshop at the MSU Museum 
 in the Food Fight! Commons (at approximately 12:10PM) and later visit the 
 Beal Garden.
