SUMMARY:YOU ARE PREPARED: A pop-up training center for self-optimization
DESCRIPTION:Experience the tech-fueled obsession with self-optimization in 
 this interactive art installation. YOU ARE PREPARED\, at MSU for one day o
 nly\, guides visitors through a series of movement-controlled games to hel
 p them realize their most optimized self. YOU ARE PREPARED was created by 
 artist Allison Berkoy in collaboration with students in the Emerging Media
  Technology (MTEC) program in New York City.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\nProgram F
 acilitated by Allison Berkoy\nAllison Berkoy is an interdisciplinary artis
 t based in Brooklyn\, New York. Mixing physical and electronic media\, she
  creates video sculptures\, interactive installations\, and performances b
 etween humans and machines. Her participatory works explore the boundaries
  and etiquette of human-machine interaction as well as human-human relatio
 nships. Berkoy is an Associate Professor of Emerging Media Technology (MTE
 C) at CUNY City Tech. \n\nFor YOU ARE PREPARED\, students and alumni from
  the MTEC program contributed code\, visuals\, sound\, research\, and crea
 tive ideas. Aiden\, a generative AI collaborator\, assisted with code trou
 bleshooting\, project critique\, and creating its self-portrait.
