Welcome to the Michigan State University Museum, MSU’s museum of science and culture! Founded in 1857, the MSU Museum collects, preserves, studies, and interprets nearly 1 million cultural artifacts and natural history specimens. In addition to the museum’s collections and exhibits, the MSU Museum supports students and faculty on campus with opportunities for learning, internships, and volunteering. While we are closed to the public in Fall 2020, we hope you’ll take a look at the videos and resources on this page to learn more about the museum and how it can be a part of your MSU experience.

If you’d like to learn more about the MSU Museum or our internship and volunteer programs, please email us!
