FIRST FRIDAYS FOR MSU STUDENTS

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES EACH MONTH AT MSU MUSEUM

MSU Museum is launching a new program for students on the first Friday of each month. These programs feature a silent disco, holiday festivities, free food, and games. This Friday, October 7, the series kicks off with a silent disco, DJ, and pizza party. During dance breaks, all three floors of the Museum will be open for students to explore.

MSU staff and students have collaborated on developing the themes and activities for First Fridays. Upcoming themes for First Fridays include a spooky November carnival with costumes and fun-filled games throughout the Museum. December will feature crafts, donuts, and guided meditation sessions. January will look back in time with retro arcade games.

“Our First Fridays program provide students with unique and just outright fun ways to explore the Museum outside of our normal hours. From dancing with the dinosaurs to carnival games, it has been very exciting to help develop engaging events to welcome MSU students into the Museum,” said MSU Museum Graduate Assistant Berkley Sorrells.

All First Fridays take place at the MSU Museum from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Tickets are free, but limited, so reserve your spot!

The First Fridays program is made possible by Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU).
