The MSU Museum, in partnership with the MSU Multicultural Center, presents Beyond Borders: A Conversation with Dr. Fredrick Luis Aldama. Join us for a thoughtful exploration of identity, storytelling, and Latinx representation in pop culture and comics. Dr. Aldama’s work brings together imagination and lived experience, using storytelling as a lens to examine the complexities of Latinx identity across geographies.
Dr. Aldama will also lead a hands-on oral history workshop the following day, Beyond Borders: Oral History with Dr. Fredrick Luis Aldama, on October 3, 2025. Students interested in storytelling, cultural heritage, and community-centered research are especially encouraged to attend.
This program is supported by the Diana Huizar Rivera and Pedro Rivera, DO Mexican American Culture Endowment.
