The MSU Museum is starting an 18-month renovation project on July 1, 2024. During the temporary building closure, the Museum will continue facilitating and creating experiences at the nexus of the arts, sciences, cultures, and technologies.

Group Visits and Field Trips

a group of students standing around in the lobby of the museum.The MSU Museum welcomes visits from MSU classes, campus visitors, PreK-12 field trips, and community group visits! Admission is free for everyone. We encourage groups to speak with a Museum Educator to help plan their visit and schedule visits at least two weeks in advance.

  • We are no longer accepting reservations for groups of ten or more due to renovations.
  • Check out our parking guide to plan ahead. Accessible parking and limited paid-parking meter spots are available in front of the Museum.

Please note the MSU Museum will embark on an ambitious 18-month renovation starting July 2024. The Museum will continue to serve students and faculty through various outreach programs, off-site exhibitions, and educational initiatives during the temporary building closure for renovations.
