We experience flavor every time we eat or drink, but how do the molecules in our food
interact with our sensory systems to shape our perception of flavor? In this workshop with food
scientist Dr. Emily Mayhew, we’ll expand our knowledge of the basic tastes (there’s more than 5!), learn why and how our sense of smell affects taste, and enjoy a tasting menu from Chef Aybars of Social Sloth Café.
