Join us for an award-winning video essay from artist-researcher Eryk Salvaggio that explores the blurred boundaries between human and artificial intelligence. The artist performs against deliberately fuzzy AI visuals and sound, creating an “augmented AI” lecture that examines how informational “noise” and AI slop function in our algorithms and in contemporary culture. The screening of this hybrid performance simultaneously functions as film, talk, essay, and sound piece. The audience discussion following the film will be facilitated by Professor Zach Kaiser.
Refreshments will be provided.
